The Palatine Packet

K. L something on side

The Palatine Packet, published by the Saugerties Historical Society and the History Department of the Town of Germantown, recalls the busy courier boats that carried news, mail and cargo between towns and cities, great harbors and modest landings, on the waterways of Europe and America.
The Packet exchanges news between Germantown and Saugerties, of the West Camp and East Camp of the Palatines in the early 1700s.
