The Germantown History Department invites donations. If you have items or documents that you wish to share with our community and future generations, please consider giving them to the Germantown History Department. As we move into the computer age, some of you may have your family tree on your computer. Please consider sharing the tree with us and perhaps we can build a Germantown family tree. This
year we received donations of early photos of the Hover family and documents about Germantown Central school from Nadine (Hover) Rumke. And we are the beneficiary of photos of Erastus Coons family from Hank Himelright. Erastus Coons was a successful lawyer and prominent resident of Germantown. Elaine Hubert donated a number of Germantown Central School yearbooks that her mother collected. Her mother Estelle, was the second grade teacher for many years at Germantown. Joan Snyder brought in early woodworking tools for us to photograph. We hope to display these artifacts and more this summer.
